Sleek, simple and elegant Eco-Gres Asia tile is derived from 100% recycled post industrial porcelain. These sustainable tiles are perfectly suited for interior or exterior applications including walkways, fireplaces, walls, showers and more.
They are virtually non-porous and highly stain resistant.
Their unique size opens the possibility to a myriad of designs.

Material Content: 100% post-industrial recycled porcelain.
Applications: walkways, fireplaces, wall coverings including round walls, backsplash, showers and more.
Colors: Belmont Black, Waterloo White (and more colors available by special order). Tiles come mounted on a mesh backing in 12"x12" sheets. Brick pattern 1"x6" tiles and loose 3"x6" tiles can be ordered as well.
Benefits of Eco-Gres Asia include: Sustainable, easy installation, highly stain resistant, beautiful colors in matte finish, high recycled content contributes toward LEED accredidation, Eco-Gres Asia is more durable than most tile.

INSTALLATION CARE AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
For installation, care, and maintenance there are very few differences between our porcelain tiles and any other ceramic tiles with exception of the following:
1) Setting materials (adhesives) must be specifically addressed to lay porcelain tiles (very low water absorption / impervious). The majority of setting materials manufacturers like Mapei, Laticrete, etc., have a specific brand of adhesives for this purpose. Usually these materials are cement/sand mixtures with addition of polymers or latex that can increase the bond strength a lot of times relation normal glues for porous ceramics. The use of specific adhesives for porcelain tiles is especially important for large tile sizes where the use of normal glues are responsible for the breakages that often appear on tiles which is the result of poor bonding, noticeable when a lot of pieces sound hollow.
2) Maintenance for our material as well as for any other unglazed porcelain tiles: total removal of any cement / grout residues after the installation of tiles is very important. Any cement or grout residues (that are porous materials) left on tile surfaces have a tendency to trap dirt. Repeated trackings of dirt may create an encrustation that is difficult to remove and tiles will be the ones to be blamed for it. A thorough cleaning of cement / grout residues will be the best way to ensure a nice installation and easy maintenance in the future.
All other guidelines are the same for any other ceramic tiles. Reference: ~The American National Standard for Installation of Ceramic Tile~.
